Three Ways to Overcome a Life Barrier

Sometimes in life we have barriers that are placed in front of us and we often do not know how to get around it. We toss and turn at night, we talk to everyone that we know, and we even pray about it. However, after all is said and done there are some times we are in a tough spot and just do not know how to proceed in life. Today, I would like to share with you three ways that I have found to get around a life barrier.

Three Ways to Overcome a Life Barrier

  1. Just start. If there is a goal you’re trying to reach, do not let the barrier stop your progress. You may have to work on it less frequently, at odd times of the day or night, work an extra job for more money or even work sparingly on the item but the biggest key is just to start and do not stop. Daily progress will show you that you can get something done and that you’re better off than you were yesterday. So, I encourage you to continue toward your goal do not stop in spite of the barrier; find a way to get at least one thing done toward your barrier.
  2. Have an accountability partner! Often times, we are trying to do so much alone and have no support. A great support system is the key to overcoming many barriers in life because the

positivity can cheer you on through the tough times. Make sure you have an encouraging circle around you to encourage you to get past whatever it is that is stopping you. When the times get tough, make sure you reach out to your accountability partner for a few positive vibes so that you keep moving toward success.

  3. Try to see the big picture, do not let tunnel vision as of right now stop you because the truth is that it won’t always be this way or that way. Yes things might be tough now but after it’s all said and done, you’ll be better off and closer to your goal if you keep your eye on the prize a.k.a. the big picture. Keep pressing!

Like Philippians 3:14 says “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”.
