It’s Time To Exercise Your Faith
We are now going into the third month of the year and, like most, we have experienced many challenges and faced various trials. Situations and circumstances seem to bombard our lives and the cares of life appear to overwhelm us at times.
Many began the year 2018 with the notion that this year would be the start of great things to come; however, instead of experiencing greater things, to some it may appear that greater is nowhere in sight. On the contrary, in this season now more than ever, we must exercise our faith in God because faith pleases God.
Hebrews 11:6 says: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”
There is absolutely no way to please, gratify, or make God happy without having faith and putting your complete confidence in Him.
Before You Go To God
Before you can go to God in prayer, commune with Him, implore Him for mercy and grace, obtain His help, worship Him, serve Him, and even enjoy His presence. You must believe that God exists according to His word. You must believe in the Trinity (God in Three Persons): the Father who is the giver of grace, the Son Christ Jesus who is our Mediator, and the Holy Spirit who is our Guide, believe in His faithfulness, believe in His provisions, and believe in His promises.
The conclusion is this: God is a rewarder, a giver of all good things to those who diligently, carefully, and earnestly seek, and pursue
Him. Faith in God will unlock the door to endless possibilities. Have faith in the only true and living God, believe that He will do what He says He will do, and you shall have what God says you can have.
The time is now to exercise your faith. What do you have to lose? You can choose to doubt what faith in God can do and you’ll remain in the state you’re in right now or you can put your faith to work and take God at His word.
When your faith is tested, you will be stretched beyond measure, but the end result is you will be triumphant and you will be victorious in every area of your life!
