Detroit – Movie Release August 4th

Detroit – Final Trailer Movie Release August 4th

A Synergetic Brotherhood Bonanza!

Nathan Davis Jr., Joseph D. Jones, Jacob Latimore, Algee Smith, & Ephraim Sykes.

I had the pleasure of interviewing some of the very talented cast members of Detroit. This Academy Award winning director of THE HURT LOCKER and ZERO DARK THIRTY, DETROIT tells the gripping story of one of the darkest moments during the civil unrest that rocked Detroit at its highest point and Motown’s explosion of talent in 1967. Many have expressed, with it being 50 years later nothing has changed.

The case of DETROIT is not your average 20 something year old young men by no means. They have expressed their gratitude on having the opportunity to do such a historical film. Nathan, Joseph, Jacob, Algee and Ephraim have agreed that DETROIT is a must see for our youth to learn about the historical event as well as the older generations. So that they know that we (millennials) are aware of what has happened and is going on. They’ve also mentioned this opportunity was great in educating them as well and are honored to have been chosen to be a part of the movie. I was so impressed with the synergy of the brotherhood these young men posed and the talents was insane. You may recognize one of our own, Ephraim Sykes who is from St. Petersburg Fl. Ephraim is showing Hollywood what’s brewing up here in the sunshiny state of Florida. He has been in the spectacular Broadway show Hamilton, Hair Spray Live and is currently working on a new Broadway show with the producers of Jersey Boys about the Temptations called “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg” and Ephraim will be playing David Ruffin. OMG! I am so on “READY”. Algee and Jacob played (individually) in Will Smith Collateral Beauty and the New Edition Movie. Nathan and Joseph have new projects their working on alongside with Denzel Washington and Jody Foster. Not to mention, each one of these outstanding talents have new album releases, impressive movies and spectacular Broadway shows coming in 2018. Listening to these youngsters…..I’m realizing  I’m such a slacker, I think I need to work harder….

I think it’s clear DETROIT is a must see on August 4th in selected theaters, but to also keep your eyes on this synergetic brotherhood bonanza.
