Netflix Movie: Spectral

Netflix is beginning to really make an impression on me.  I recently reviewed Luke Cage and loved it.  Spectral didn’t hurt Netflix at all.  Okay, sure I’m a war movie fan anyway but this was a spin on war movies using what appeared to be a supernatural force as the combatants.  You find out later in the movie what exactly they are but I won’t give it away here.

Spectral is a sci-fi/thriller story centered on a special-ops team that is dispatched to fight supernatural beings.  Max Martini starred in the movie.  I remember him from the TV series, “The Unit”.  I thought he did an outstanding job there and Spectral was just as fitting for him.  He seems to do well in special ops movies.

Overall, Spectral was a hit!  I watched it twice just to be sure and I wasn’t disappointed either time.  If you’re looking for a good movie to curl up and watch on your Netflix get this one.  I don’t think you will be disappointed.  I wasn’t.
