Behind The Scenes with Mikki Val

Mikki Val is an American television/film actress who currently resides in New Orleans, Louisiana. On 4 September 2001, Val received a proclamation and the key to her hometown, Flint, Michigan from Mayor Woodrow Stanley who officially announced this day as “Mikki Val Day”.

Best Known Roles

Mikki Val is best known for her roles on Scream, Miracle Run, Just My Luck, and The Campaign but most of all, her appearance in the national commercial for Bing.com which is said to be one of the funniest campaigns for Microsoft.

Girls Trip

Mikki made a cameo appearance in the 2017 hilarious comedy directed by Malcolm Lee, “Girls Trip” featuring Jada Pinkett-Smith, Queen Latifah, Tiffany Haddish and Regina Hall.

We caught up with Mikki to see if she could spill any behind the scenes tea. Here’s what she had to say…

Hey Mikki, can you give us a behind the scenes moment while working on the set of “Girls Trip”?

Let me tell you…the hair and makeup trailer was ROCKIN! (Laughing) I was sitting next to Queen Latifah getting my makeup done and the old school jam “Shoop” came on by Salt N Pepa. I started rapping the lyrics because I love that song. Queen heard me and was like “Aweeeee shoot” and she jumped in and started rapping the lyrics, too. Then, everybody else got in and it was just hilarious and fun. (Laughing) It was one FABULOUS day!!!

Created Equal

Also, I have a film coming out this Fall called “Created Equal” where I play a character named “Betty”….she is the Administrative Assistant to “Tommy Reilly” played by actor Aaron Tveit. It is directed by the legendary actor/director Mr. Bill Duke, Starring Aaron Tveit, Edy Ganem, and Lou Diamond Phillips. Please look out for it sometime this Fall.
