Good morning and happy Monday. For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
In this passage 2 Corinthians 1:20, the Apostle Paul says that God has made many promises to His people, and although life is often met with trouble and affliction, they all work together for the good of the believer. The promises of peace, hope, strength, salvation, needs being supplied, abundant life, and life eternal (just to name a few) are all found in Christ Jesus, whose blood, covenant, and promises are all confirmed and fulfilled in Christ, and thus illustrate the glory of God Almighty when they are preached by us, held by us, and received by us.
The more glory we give to God, the stronger we become in believing all the promises of God are true and that God is faithful to His promises. The promises of God are yea with respect to God promising them, and they are Amen in respect to men believing the promises. If God has made you a promise, just know that there is a YES and a AMEN that has signed, sealed, and delivered the promise to you.
However, in order to receive the promises of God you must be in the right position to receive them; you must be obedient to God’s word, be in line to God’s will, have faith in God’s word, and give praise to God in advance for all that is to come.
Have a good day and know that I love you so very much.
