But They That Wait Upon The Lord

Good morning and thank God it’s Friday! But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

In this passage Isaiah 40:31, the Prophet Isaiah says to all those who wait, stay put, and await with expectancy upon the Lord, their strength shall be renewed, refreshed, regenerated, and revived. Just as eagles are strong and move swiftly, those that wait on the Lord shall mount up, accelerate, build up, and rise up with wings as eagles.

They shall run, and not be weary, nor grow tired; they shall not lack energy or strength, and they shall walk and not faint, they will not lack courage nor strength.

No matter what comes your way, in spite of how tiresome life’s journey may become, and even when you think that you can’t make it through, when you hope and trust in the Lord, He will renew your strength and you will grow stronger and stronger each and every day.

Don’t you give up, don’t you give in, don’t throw in the towel, nor grow weary, just wait on the Lord, because you shall persevere even through the toughest of times, and you shall be courageous through it all! Wait on the Lord and praise Him in advance, because you will triumph if you just don’t give up!
