Meet Angie Lynnetta – Brushes of Beauty

I had the pleasure of meeting a passionate and motivated young lady when I was filming my first movie, Standing Firm (One Family’s Fight Against Domestic Violence). From the minute we meet I knew this strong entrepreneur was heading for greatness as a business owner and makeup artist.  After a few months of working with her I found out that she did not disappoint.  Angie Lynnetta is the owner and operator of Brushes of Beauty Makeup Artistry.

Angie has a solid background in her field and experience to match. She graduated from C. Leon King High School in 1993. She obtained her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Hillsborough Community College in 1998.  She is licensed as a realtor in the State of Florida since 2005 and as an Esthetician in 2017.

Angie started working for the State of Florida Government in 1995 but heard the call to become an entrepreneur and open her own business. Her love for makeup artistry plus a desire to enhance a women’s outer beauty and make them feel beautiful inside, pushed her to teach herself the art using YouTube videos as a foundation.  She started out by practicing on herself and has graduated to creating makeup looks for various movies, magazine covers, video tutorials, print ads, various publications and promotional campaigns.

After learning her trade, Angie started Brushes of Beauty in April of 2014. Since then she has provided makeup service for such major events as the films Standing Firm and King Charles, the Health Care Administration’s training video, magazine covers such as Chella Magazine and Mora Modeling Magazine. She was recognized and honored to be selected in 2016 to work with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers seasonal promotion campaign.

Once you get to know her you find that she’s a wonderful and spirited person who gives her all for a project. Not to mention her present on the set helped to make everyone relaxed and comfortable.  During the filming of Standing Firm I was very impressed with her level of dedication.  She stayed on the set for 24 straight hours on more than one occasion without complaining.   She took her craft seriously and was prepared for every eventuality.

Looking into 2017, Angie Lynnetta plans to be a brand that people can trust to provide exceptional service in skin care and makeup application for personal and production needs. “I pride myself on providing a professional, luxurious experience for anyone who sits in my chair”, said Angie.  She strives to exceed her client’s expectations and I for one can vouch for that.

The future certainly looks bright for Angie Lynnetta and Brushes of Beauty.  She plans to provide more services for ad campaigns, fashion editorial (see her beauty section in The Lyfe Magazine), spreads, commercial print ads, agency models, television and more films.  In 2017, Brushes of Beauty will be a force in the retail arena.  Shop for skin care, cosmetics, and beauty products via her online store at www.brushesofbeauty.com/shop.
